The Ian Carey Quintet ($15)

Trumpeter and composer Ian Carey has cut his own path with his quintet, layering his compositions with a keen melodic sense. Performing material from this year’s acclaimed CD, Contextualizin’. Featuring Ian Carey, trumpet and flugelhorn; Evan Francis, alto saxophone and flute; Adam Shulman, piano and Hammond B3 organ; Fred Randolph, bass; and Jon Arkin, drums.

Trelawny Rose and the Rosebuds ($12)

Sharing the stage with her students and special guests, singer Trelawny Rose performs songs from her new project with singing partner Amikaeyla: To Eva, With Love; a tribute to the late, great Eva Cassidy.
