An evening of original material by composer/saxophonist Sheldon Brown. Brown’s music combines a lush harmonic pallet, driving odd meter grooves, sensuously twisting melodies and high energy group improvisation to produce a compelling, dramatic soundscape. Featuring Sheldon Brown, saxophones and clarinet; Darren Johnston, trumpet; Dave MacNab, Guitar; Jonathan Alford, piano; Michael Wilcox, bass; Alan Hall, drums.
